The District relies on volunteers who wear a pager to respond at all times of the day and night to the stations. The District responds on an average of 200 alarms a year for everything from lifting someone up off the floor to major fires and emergencies.      SMOKE DETECTORS SAVE LIVES!   CHANGE YOUR BATTERIES TWICE A YEAR.  CLEAN YOUR DETRECTOR ANNUALLY.  REPLACE EVERY 5 YEARS!
